Telephone and email appointments may be appropriate, or office appointments might suit your needs best. Lighter and shorter term than psychotherapy or relationship counseling, we work almost exclusively with the parents and primary caretakers to establish effective tools, so children can learn to thrive in a cohesive environment.

Parenting consultations offer a customized learning environment tailored to your lifestyle and you family’s needs. A consultation is perfect for the parent who needs hands-on education and training in order to address any specific challenge. A typical consultation always includes an in-depth information gathering session and can include weekly sessions, educational training meetings and parent trainings until you have a complete understanding of your parenting style and a tool bag full of new and effective language skills and parenting techniques.

How it Works
We teach numerous topics related to parenting, families and education and are available to speak at schools, parenting groups, churches, daycare centers, private homes and privately to parents in our office in Santa Barbara, California. Unlike therapy, these experiences are educational in nature, although we encourage self-exploration along the way to deepen the educational experience. Regardless of the setting, you will walk away with immediate and powerful tools to use to improve your parenting relationships. Lengths of presentations can range from one-hour to two-day seminars.
